Our most recent impact study in collaboration with the Aspen Institute demonstrates that an ACCION USA microloan empowers borrowers to:
- Create sustainable businesses: The business survival rate among ACCION USA clients is 98% for established businesses and 89% of start-up businesses.
- Create employment opportunity in low-to-moderate income communities: On average, each ACCION USA small business loan recipient creates 2.4 new jobs. Moreover, jobs created by ACCION USA borrowers pay 24% more than the national minimum wage of $9 per hour.
