In June 2009 ACCION USA partnered with Kiva, the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website. As a leader in U.S. microfinance, ACCION USA offers the opportunity for Kiva lenders worldwide to lend directly to our U.S.-based borrowers.
At Kiva.org, you can browse through ACCION USA clients in need of loan capital and choose an entrepreneur to whom you can lend as little as $25. In the months that follow you will receive updates on your entrepreneur's repayment and progress. It's an innovative way to learn more about microfinance -- and to support microentrepreneurs in your own backyard.
As a nonprofit organization, ACCION USA's work is made possible by charitable donations that support our operations. Please consider supplementing your loan capital with a donation to help pay for our one-on-one work with borrowers.
