The Boston Beer Co. hosts an open house today featuring beneficiaries of the Samuel Adams maker's microloan program, "Brewing the American Dream."

Eight small business owners will participate at the Holiday Marketplace outside of the brewery on Germania Street in Jamaica Plain, selling specialty sausages, jams, caramels, homemade breads and other products at the open market. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The merchants include Lulu's Sweet Shoppe, Delectable Desires, Karl's Sausage Kitchen, Deborah's Kitchen, Caramel Eye, CJ Walsh Catering & Party Planning, Vivanne Chocolat and Curry Puffs.
