Accion USA Microfinance Council "Event in a Box"
The ACCION USA Microfinance Council "Event in a Box" is a tool that will allow individuals to personally host private fundraising events for ACCION USA. Hosting an "Event in a Box" party is just like hosting any party or dinner. The difference is that, as host, you will request guests donate money to ACCION USA.
An "Event in a Box" party can take any form. It can be a dinner party in your apartment or a picnic in the park. You can order pizza for your friends or you can cook them a gourmet dinner.
6 Steps to Host an "Event in a Box" Party
- Decide what type of party you will host, for example:
Picnic in the park
Dinner party
Sports tournament/game
Game night
Brunch - Download a brunch created by the owners of Aroma Net Café, a small business started with a loan from Accion USA
2. Invite your friends - Send your invites using Facebook (template attached), Evites or handwritten invitations

4. Prepare to educate guests on Accion USA - Download documents you can hand out to guests with general information on Accion USA and details on the impact of AUSA loans: Accion USA Profile; Accion USA loan impact
5. Let your guests know how to make a donation to Accion USA for your event - Provide your guests with the Accion USA Donation link and ask them to note "Event in a Box for [Your Name]" in the Dedication field so that the Microfinance Council will be able to track the funds raised via the Events in a Box: Accion USA Donation Link
