Donate through a Corporate Matching Gift Program

Corporate matching gift programs can double, or even triple, your donation. To find out whether or not your employer has a matching gift program, please check with your employer's Matching Gift Program or your Human Resources department.  Complete the appropriate form(s) and mail them and your donation to the address listed above.  Once we receive your gift, we will contact your employer for their matching gift.

Donate a Gift of Stock

ACCION USA welcomes tax-deductible contributions in the form of securities. This is a particularly powerful way to support our work by contributing appreciated assets without incurring capital gains taxes. There are two easy ways to give a gift of stock to ACCION USA:

    1. If the securities are held by your broker, instruct your broker to transfer them to:

Please notify ACCION USA at (646) 833-4522 of this transaction so we may monitor the transfer. Once the funds are in our account, we will provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.

    2. If the securities are in your name, sign the back of the certificate in the name(s) as they appear on the front. Please place the name of ACCION USA's transfer agent, "Mesirow Financial Corporation," as the appointed "Attorney." Then draft a brief letter authorizing ACCION USA as the recipient of the transferred security.

    SAMPLE LANGUAGE

    "I [NAME} hereby transfer [#] shares of [CORPORATION NAME] to ACCION USA."
    Sign and date letter and send to our broker at:
