$100,000 Challenge Grant Will Match Your Donation Until October 31st, 2008

ACCION USA is a leader in providing hope to individuals—primarily women, minorities, and immigrants—who have run out of resources and have nowhere else to turn.  By making small loans to women entrepreneurs who do not qualify for traditional bank loans, we help women secure their financial futures, support their families, and enrich their communities.

Recently, we received a generous $100,000 challenge grant from an anonymous woman associated with the Community Foundation of Louisville's "Lavender Fund 2" to support a new program of assistance to minority and rural women entrepreneurs that we are calling “For Women By Women.” 

But we only have a short time—until October 31st, 2008—to match the gift that will make this program possible.
